Switzerland Based

A dynamic and global market leading semiconductor manufacturer has an exciting opportunity based out of their new design centre located in a stunning area of Switzerland.
Due to continued growth, they require an experienced analog & mixed-signal circuit designers to design high performance analog & mixed-signal circuits for today’s highly sophisticated CMOS PHY products, using state-of-the-art deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
Experience in the following areas is required:
• Strong knowledge on the deep sub-micron CMOS technologies with understanding of ESD requirements
• Experience in demanding RF, analog or mixed signal circuits for transceivers: LNA, mixer, PLL’s for transceivers, ADPLL’s, etc
• Hands-on experience in designing A-to-D converters, D-to-A converters, Frequency Synthesizers, Low Noise Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers and/or Line Interfaces as well as performing the top level (or chip-level) integration.
• Strong experience of bringing designs to volume production with involvement in DVT, ATE, qualification and production ramp-up.
•
Ability to comprehend the system level requirement and to translate it into the circuit level specifications.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Strong knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, Verilog, etc
• A thorough understanding of the physical layout requirement and ability to perform the critical layouts
• Lab testing skills and production test supporting experience
• Clear communication and presentation skills with technical leadership to supervise junior engineers in a dynamic team environment.
Qualifications:
The candidate should have a Master in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the design of analog and mixed-signal circuits in a mixed-signal environment. Experience of bringing IC’s to volume production is also a pre requisite.
