INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER Due to its continued growth, a well established and thriving anti-pollution and safety equipment manufacturer now wishes to build further on its international successes. With first class products and as true world market leaders, our Client seeks a knowledgeable, self-motivated and conscientious person to join their busy technical sales office. The role will provide customer support via email, fax and telephone. Responsibilities: • Produce detailed quotations in line with customers’ application requirements. • Provide technical sales support to UK and overseas customers. • Work in a pressurised environment maintaining efficiency and accuracy at all times. • Liaise with General Management to establish production slot availability and feasibility of offers made. • Carry out technical review/assessment of enquiries and sales orders received. Although the position is office based, there will be the occasional travel in the U.K. and internationally. With a minimum of three years experience, applicants should ideally be technically qualified. However, of greater importance is a proven background in technical sales activities ideally in a marine hose, mooring hawser, tanker coupling, valve or similar capital equipment business, in the offshore loading system sector or a related field. Knowledge of the oil and gas industry will also be advantageous. This position is likely to appeal to those looking to develop their career into a sales role in the near future.
