Description
Accountant – Westbury based Full time, permanent role. A highly successful engineering company based in Westbury has implemented exciting plans for future growth. As part of their strategic development, they are bringing on board a fully qualified Accountant to assist in their expansion. Main duties: • Managing sales & purchase invoices and credit control. • Monthly/Weekly Cash Flow forecasting. • Inter company/departmental accounts. • Balance Sheet Reconciliations. • Reconciliation of Control accounts. • Budgeting & Forecasting. • Overseeing VAT, P&L, tax returns • Management accounts. • Costing of sales orders. • Maintain Employee records. • Prepare data for monthly wages submission to Group. • Maintaining confidential administration information on central server. • Work in conjunction Qualifications required: Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant Skills required: • Knowledge of accounting to Trial Balance standard, • Work on bank, wages, nominal, purchase, and sales ledger functions. • Using fully integrated Accounting Systems, encompassing Purchasing, Sales and Stock modules. • Produce Management Accounts, within an agreed timetable. • Staff management and excellent communication skills. • Ability to operate within a group reporting structure.
