Description
Our client is a long established, successful independent garage that currently has a strong and developed team of vehicle technicians. This is an important role within their service department and you will be required to work to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will need to be fully competent in the servicing and repair of vehicles, to the highest manufacturer standards. As well as good technical competence of vehicle mechanics, you will have a thorough knowledge of the electrical and electronic components of a vehicle and be comfortable to use the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults. You will have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to work as part of an effective team. You must be a good team player and communicator to ensure smooth and efficient flow of work. Good liaison with other team members is essential, with the attitude to exceed customer expectations. Ideal candidates will have NVQ 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent City & Guilds in motor mechanics. A current MOT license will be advantageous. Proven track record within the Motor Trade is required.
